Spring Brunch 2017

Spring Brunch will be held in McMillan Hall on Sunday 22 October. This is our only fundraising event on the musical calendar and in the five years this event has run, with additional support from the Parents Association, we have been able to purchase a new piano and four new timpani. Most recently it has also enabled us to refurbish our grand piano.

 

This year our fundraising will be directed towards the purchase of a euphonium and a bassoon.

 

The morning will commence at 8.30am with performances around the fig tree and in the foyer of McMillan Hall. We ask that all audience members be seated by 9.00am in McMillan Hall to share brunch whilst enjoying performances by the larger ensembles. Please put this date in your diary as it will involve ALL music students at the college. All performers are required to wear full concert black and are to arrive by 8.15am unless otherwise advised.

 

Tickets can be purchased online via https://www.trybooking.com/RZQJ from 9am Monday 11 September until 3.00pm on Monday 16 October OR when tickets are sold out. There are limited tickets available and this event usually sells out well before the closing date. You can access this via the link on the CGSC website. The cost of each ticket is $22.00 per person which includes all food and drinks. Each person attending is required to purchase a ticket including children accompanying their parent/s. Performing students will not be admitted to the hall other than during their performances.

 

Note: Students who are performing have the opportunity to receive a packed breakfast at a cost of $5. Student tickets for food can be purchased on Trybooking up until 3pm on Monday 16 October. There will be no other food provided for students.  

 

Due to catering requirements all tickets must be purchased prior to the event—TICKETS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.

 

Parent Helpers:
