Introduction to the Art of Zen Shiatsu


In Japanese the word "Shi" means Finger and "Atsu" means Pressure.

Zen shiatsu is a traditional healing technique in which pressure is applied sensitively but firmly over the body, penetrating to work at a deep level to promote and maintain health and to treat specific conditions.
In this 3h workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of Zen shiatsu in a very practical way:
- introduction to meridians
- meridian stretches (Makko Hos)
- self-shiatsu
- the basics of how to give a zen shiatsu treatment to friends and family
It will be a fun interactive workshop to become confident with healing touch using Connection, Presence, Breath.
Please bring a yoga mat and a sarong if you have one.
