International Women's Day
Date: Thursday 8th March, 2018 from 8am - 10.30am.
The International Women’s Day Breakfast is the leading event on Victoria’s social calendar celebrating the remarkable contribution that women make to our public sector. We are hosting this event at GG's restaurant in East Melbourne, Victoria. The event is a catered event and guests will receive a delicious breakfast.
We will be welcoming along Amy Muir who is the Institute of Architects incoming Victorian Chapter President as well as Clare Cousins who is our National President Elect. This will be an exciting event and is open to all (Males included!)
Amy Muir, Incoming Victorian Chapter President
Amy Muir is the Institute of Architects incoming Victorian Chapter President and was the recipient of the Australian Institute of Architects 2016 National Emerging Architect Prize.
Amy brings over 15 years of experience in high end residential, commercial and public architecture. Holding degrees in both Interior Design and Architecture from RMIT University has ensured that the practice places equal value on the holistic crafting of interior and external form as one.
Clare Cousins, National President Elect
Clare is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects and the current National President Elect.
Clare was elected in 2016 as a Nationally Elected Councillor, and is the current National Practice Committee chair. She has also contributed in Victoria as a Chapter Councillor, Small and Medium Practice Forum member, Member Services Committee (chair), AA Editorial Committee (chair), Constructive Mentoring Program mentor and state and national awards juror.
Clare was recognised for her work and professional engagement in 2013 with the AIA National Emerging Architect prize.

In the event of cancellation, bookings will be transferred to the next available event unless the registrant requests otherwise. 3. No cancellations or refunds two (2) working days prior to the event. 4. People attending in replace of the registered person must pay the ticket fee associated with their membership type. 5. Please note that start and end times are an estimation. Some seminars may finish earlier or later than the proposed time.
