Spirometry - Principles & Practice - November
Thursday 22nd to Friday 23rd November 2018 

This extensive 2 day course, Endorsed by the Australia and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science (ANZSRS) and The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), is for health professionals who care for people with asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions.


Expert Respiratory Scientists from the Physiology Service, Respiratory Medicine, The Alfred.


Topics covered include:

  • Spirometry - an introduction.
  • How to correctly perform spirometry
  • Test Selection and Performance
  • Identify common testing problems
  • Result Interpretation 
  • Predicative Reference Equations
  • Infection control and Quality Assurance


$810 - Includes morning tea, lunch and course material.


This activity has been approved for 14 CPD points.
You will be sent a predisposing activity prior to the course which will need to be completed and returned before the program commences.  To qualify for 14 points, participants must complete the predisposing and reinforcing activities and the feedback form.

Location & Time

Sessions generally kickoff at 8:45 for 9:00 am start finishing 5pm daily.
