the vulnerable femmes of folk

an intimate night with folk-like music from Emily Lubitz (Tinpan Orange), Angie Hudson and
Merryn Jeann performing songs of their own, on their own

The vulnerable femmes of folk are Merryn Jeann, Emily Lubitz and Angie Hudson.

Although these three musicians may be known to you via various collaborations and bands (Tinpan Orange, Tora, Potato Potato, Banksia)  they thought it a nice idea to strip bare and play their songs as they were made -  a voice and instrument, a lot of feeling and maybe a sneaky glass of red wine or two.

24th March at the Brunswick Picture House will be an intimate eve full of fragility and grace, in hopes of tucking you in as though you were at home, cuddled on the couch, listening to your favourite vinyl (or mp3… let’s be real).

Come by and listen to three women exploring the powerful simplicity behind  a voice and her song.
