WEBINAR: Learning in Vietnam

Housing Typologies in Ho Chi Minh City

Date | Monday 16 April

Queensland & Victoria | 12:00pm - 1:00pm

This webinar examines how cultural and historical factors affect housing in a tropical Asian country (Vietnam) and draws lessons for Queensland from its solutions.

We will explore how culture plays a stronger role than climate and how high rises may not be the answer.

Key Note Speaker | Ed Haysom

Ed Haysom is a former Queensland and National President of the Australian Institute of Architects. He has lived and practiced in Vietnam for the last 5 years and is excited to share with you what he's learnt in this time. He is currently in Vietnam and will be presenting from his office in Ho Chi Minh City.
