Mother's Day Breakfast
GUEST SPEAKER: Toni Moate - Telstra Business Woman of the Year


Please join us to celebrate Mother's Day at the annual Prefects Mother and Son Breakfast - grandmothers, aunties, friends and mentors are all welcome to attend. Ticket sales will go towards supporting Hobart Women's Shelter and there will also be a raffle for the Prefects charity, Speak Up! Stay ChatTY, held on the day.   


WHEN: Friday 11 May

WHERE: Burbury House Dining Room (Hutchins Boarding House)

TIME: 7.00 am to 8.30am (please note a strict start time of 7.00am)

TICKETS: $25 per person including a full hot breakfast, tea, coffee and juices. Please Note: you must purchase a ticket for your son if he is attending. 

GUEST SPEAKER: Toni Moate - Director of CSIRO, National Collections and Marine Infrastructure and Telstra Business Woman of the Year 2017

Toni was awarded the Public Service Medal for outstanding public service in Australian marine and atmospheric science, as part of the Queen's Birthday 2015 Honours List and last year she became the Telstra Tasmanian Business Woman of the Year, after also receiving the Public Sector and Academia Award. Toni will talk about her career - the highlights, lowlights, juggling parenting her two daughters with the birth of the new research ship Investigator - and the role mothers play shaping the future.
