Puppetry for Teachers in Sydney, NSW (CANCELLED)

Run by puppeteer and primary school teacher Kay Yasugi (Pupperoos), this hands-on workshop aims to help teachers explore how puppetry can be used to stimulate enriched literacy projects and act as a springboard for other engaging learning experiences. This one day intensive will include a wide range of puppets suitable for various ages and needs; instructions on simple puppet making and operating; and practical ideas for using puppetry in daily teaching. Cost: $150 (or $140 for UNIMA Members).
