Wesley Wills Writing - Parramatta - February 2019
Important Information - Please read this before booking your appointment
Professional Wills from just $60
1 - 28 February 2019
Hello, and welcome to the booking page for the Wesley Wills Writing Month at Parramatta. If you, or any members of your family, have never prepared a Will, or if your Will needs to be updated, this is an excellent opportunity to have a simple, or ‘non-complex’ Will prepared in consultation with a lawyer for only $60*. (We can provide for you if you know that your estate planning is complex - please see the note at the foot of this section, below the map.)
At the one appointment you can have your Wills prepared and completed, in most cases eliminating the need for a further appointment.
You can pay here to reserve your spot, but first...
The information you read in this section (there is more below the map) will ensure you are well prepared for your meeting with one of our honorary law firms, and that you gain the most from your experience. The lawyers at this event are taking time out from their busy local practices to help you, and us, and we greatly appreciate their involvement.
Thank you too, for supporting Wesley Mission in this way. The income from each Will that is prepared helps to support Wesley Mission's many community services.
This event may also be an opportunity for you to consider leaving a gift (of any size) in your Will to support Wesley Mission's future care of children, families, the homeless and others in real need. But, there is no obligation, and naturally, you will want to make sure that you take care of your family and loved ones first. Any gift you leave to charity should not impact upon your ability to provide for those most important to you. After your family has been looked after, a small percentage of what is left could make a real difference, and we will use your gift carefully and cost effectively so it has the greatest impact. Please seek professional legal and financial advice before doing so.
Thanks again for landing on this page. We look forward to seeing you at the Wills day, and, if you have any questions, we are only a phone call or email away - 9263 5548 or email@example.com

It is common for couples to meet with the solicitor at the same appointment, although separate appointments can be made if you prefer.
Once you have paid for your Will or Wills, we will send you an information pack which will help you to prepare for your time with the solicitor. Your pack contains a letter of introduction, instruction forms, and the contact details of the law firm. You can then phone the law firm to book your appointment with them during February, at a mutually agreed day and time. The firm will have been notified of your paid reservation.
To allow the solicitor to prepare your draft Will before your appointment, please complete your instruction forms and email or post them if possible, to the firm, prior to making your appointment. This will save time and allow for your Will to be completed while you wait.
If you post your instruction forms, we recommend that you make copies, and bring these to your appointment.
Details of upcoming Wills days in the metropolitan area can be found by visiting www.wesleymission.org.au/wills
*Complex Wills: If you know or are confident that your Will is going to be complex, such as providing for a blended family, or including family trusts, our lawyers will be pleased to assess your situation and provide a competitive cost estimation to prepare your Will. The cost for this service is $75 per Will. The lawyer will take your payment to Wesley Mission into account in preparing your quote, and the balance is payable to the law firm when you sign your documents. The preparation of your documents will take longer than we would expect our lawyers to volunteer their time, hence the provision of a cost estimation. Both simple and complex Wills appointment times are available in the booking area.
“ When a friend told us about Wesley Mission Wills Days, it took the worry out of finding someone to do our Wills, and it was something we could afford. The staff at Wesley Mission were helpful in answering questions and following up things. The solicitor we saw was helpful in answering our questions. It was a lovely, stress free experience, that saved us time, doing something we often avoid doing because it feels too hard or we don't know how to go about it.”
