Enjoy an evening out at the Walcha Sports Club, learning more about John Oxley and his 1818 expedition, the first European explorers to the region 200 years ago. They crossed the Great Dividing Range near Walcha and finally found a route to Port Macquarie through the rugged terrain of the gorges.
