The Lung Health Promotion Centre @ The Alfred and The Alfred Physiology team are pleased to present this extensive 2 day course, following the new Australia and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science (ANZSRS) and The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) standard; is for health professionals who care for people with asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions.


Expert Respiratory Scientists from the Physiology Service, Respiratory Medicine, The Alfred.


Topics covered include:

  • Spirometry - an introduction.
  • How to correctly perform spirometry
  • Test Selection and Performance
  • Identify common testing problems
  • Result Interpretation 
  • Predicative Reference Equations
  • Infection control and Quality Assurance


$810 - Includes morning tea, lunch, light afternoon tea, course material and marking of post course workbook.
