DIA NSW | World Industrial Design Day 2018
DIA NSW | World Industrial Design Day 2018

In keeping with one of our key pillars 'Celebrate', the Design Institute of Australia NSW Branch invites you to join us in celebrating World Industrial Design Day 2018, recognising the work and achievements of industrial designers around the world.
"The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines health as a ‘state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’. To that end, World Industrial Design Day 2018 will not attempt to develop a new vaccine or explore a cure to any disease, but through the theme Design’s impact on Good Health and Well-Being, WIDD 2018 will engage a global dialogue around design-driven solutions to issues affecting physical, mental and social quality of life. It will scrutinize the quality of our built environment and evaluate its impact on healthy behaviour".
The evening is part of a global celebration and offers design professionals, graduates and students an opportunity to meet, learn from and engage with other designers and to help build a more connected and collaborative design community for the future. Can design incite happier, healthier and more enjoyable lifestyles? Come along and join in the discussion.
