Cairns Forum 4 Business Growth (F4BG) June 2018 Lunch
"Community Owned Enterprises" with Kevin White our June Guest Speaker
Kevin really enjoy working with people, helping them to develop new and innovative ideas, to grow and expand their businesses, in building and maintaining a vast network of contacts across all business and industry sectors, and as a successful Grants and Tender writer for a variety of programs and projects.
As the Director of White Source, Kevin mentors and assists business owners and managers to achieve their business and personal goals, and seek opportunities to support small business and economic development in FNQ.
Kevin has successfully managed Business Enterprise Centres at Advance Cairns & Cape York Sustainable Futures, the Reef Rescue Program, the Small Business Advisory Service Program, the Small Business Online Program and others, and has enjoyed success by way of winning a variety of Grants and Tenders.
Kevin’s latest project is Community Owned Enterprises (COE). It builds stronger communities by creating enterprises, economic development pathways, and employment opportunities, in regional and remote Australia, focussed on Cape York in the far north of Qld.
Kevin White identifies opportunities for new enterprises; supports, mentors and coaches potential entrepreneurs to convert business ideas and concepts into viable and sustainable enterprises. He leads and guides potential entrepreneurs to be able to autonomously manage enterprises, through the design, implementation and management of systems, for the administration and day to day activities of these remote regional enterprises.
This will be an insightful and valuable lunch for all who attend.
