From Fifth to First – More than Access

From Fifth to First is a disability-led open forum taking an intersectional approach to the lives and cultures of people with disability. These conversations will explore the realities of living as a person with disability and the diverse experiences within the community. Join us at From Fifth to First – a forum that is more about action than access.

Friday 10 August, 10am – 4pm
(Exclusive for self identified people with disabilities and their carers and support workers)

Saturday 11 August, 1pm – 4pm
(Open to the general public)

In the interest of creating a more widely accessible event, we ask that you consider not using strongly scented items for the duration of the forum. This includes perfumes, aftershaves, scented hand soaps, scented body lotions, hair product, or essential oils. You may also consider wearing clothing that has not been exposed to these items or smoke, fabric softeners and scented laundry detergents.

There will be a designated low sensory space that is accessible throughout the forum.

If you have any questions regarding this request, additional access needs, or other queries please contact Hannah Morphy-Walsh at hannah@footscrayarts.com or call Reception on (03) 9362 8888
