 Who's mad and who's sane? Two psychiatrists—one new and inexperienced, the other his well-established mentor—battle over the diagnosis and treatment of a young black man who claims to be the son of African dictator Idi Amin. Sardonically comic, Blue/Orange blasted onto the stage in its National Theatre debut in 2000 and was instantly recognised as a landmark event, winning every major award for Best New Play.
