Key Note speaker, Peter Standen, will address architect’s frustration as their designs and visions are compromised by structural limitations, builder’s approaches, inflexible consultants and site complexities. We invite you to join us in this evening of networking and a presentation tackling questions such as: why some engineers insist on putting portal frames in houses? Why do the basement walls have to be so thick?

As the Director of Partridge, Peter has delivered a variety of projects including public art, high end bespoke residences, multi-residential buildings, commercial structures, expert witness reports and remedial building solutions. Peter has a particular interest in collaborating with Architects, Designers and Artists to deliver adventurous, elegant and unique solutions.
