One of Australia’s leading intellectuals, Robert Manne has riffed on everything from the ‘failure’ of economic rationalism to Islamic State and why media baron Rupert Murdoch can’t be stopped. In his latest book, On Borrowed Time, the ever-forceful Manne reflects on his struggle with cancer, his love of family and friends, and the great care shown to him by medical staff while hospitalised. Manne will be in conversation with leading Canberra communications specialist, Catherine McGrath.
