If these walls could talk: Preserving your family photographs

Ever been curious about the history of your house, or a property in your neighbourhood?

 

Join Way Back When Consulting Historians as they run a practical, hands-on session that will help demystify researching house history.

Be guided through resources and archival collections: maps, plans, rate books and land titles. Piece together property history using sources like the Victorian Heritage Register and other publicly accessible databases.

 

Sunday 7 October, 2pm–4.30pm.

Carnegie Library and Community Centre — Tech Room

Tickets $6. Bookings essential and open: 9am, 9 September.
