Studying at German Universities is free, even for non-German citizens.

German universities have an excellent reputation worldwide for their research, innovation, and teaching. For this and many other reasons, Germany has become a very popular destination for international students.
The German Immersion & Extension Support Group at Kenmore State High School has invited a speaker from the German Academic Exchange Service to provide information on the range of study options available in Germany, including international programs (in English or German), language programs, tertiary preparatory courses, scholarships, student exchanges and post-graduate study.
The event is open to all students and their parents (including those who are not currently in the German Immersion program).  We also extend a very warm welcome to the students and their parents at Ferny Grove State High School and St. Peter's Lutheran College.
The information session is of relevance for German and non-German speaking students. About 1/3rd of courses at German Universities are now held in English. Speaking German is very helpful, but not a prerequisite for studying in Germany.
The Goethe Institute will be in attendance with a booth and information material.
