Maintaining health and wellness is vital for people living with chronic health conditions. MS endorses a holistic approach to living a healthy lifestyle that includes a focus on exercise, fatigue management, stress management and nutrition.
The Hobart Wellness Event will have two guest presenters - Dr Luke Smith, Neuropsychologist and Nicola Graham, Nutritionist, MS Educator and Author of the Eat Well Live Well section on the MSL Website.
The day will also include:
- A Pilates come and try session
- A choice of either an Employment Support Service or My Aged Care (services and support for people aged 65 years and over) information session. Please nominate your choice when booking.
- A mindfulness session
So come along and learn a bit more about your thinking and memory, what foods may help manage symptoms, get the latest on supplements and superfoods and discover the best tips for wellbeing. You can also find out about the NDIS, peer support programs and services from MS – all for free!
