Join us on a journey into the Spanish countryside…
This 1933 Spanish rural tragedy by Federico García Lorca follows the love triangle of a Bride, her Bridegroom and her lover, Leonardo. In a tale of love, loyalty and the cost of tradition, two young men must face each other and what they are willing to fight for under the light of a bloodthirsty moon.
Blood Wedding, written at a time where the art world was exploding and the country was facing impending civil war, the result is a lyrical play challenging traditional social values through the use of music, dance and poetry.
