The bald Soprano -Guinness World record Attempt

To mark the merging of 2 local theatre groups, we are presenting one very special play and only one performance…. but there’s a kicker. The one performance goes for 30 hours and this is an officially recognized Guinness World record attempt for the world’s longest play. Imagine being able to tell your family and friends that you were there when a bunch of theatre lovers of questionable sanity performed for 30 hours and set a world record.

We don’t expect our audiences to sit through 30 hours though. The play has a built-in loop and each iteration of the loop takes about 75 minutes. So, come for one iteration or stay for as long as you want. The launch starts at 11.30am on Saturday Nov 3rd with cast introductions and media greeting, then the show starts at 12pm. At 4pm on Sunday Nov 4th we start the countdown to our final iteration and World record glory, before some very well-earned sleep. During the 30 hours people are welcome to come and go as they please for a $5 donation. Limited tickets for the Launch and Final Countdown will be available for presale with both standard seating and cabaret style table seating.

Our venue is wheelchair friendly and priority wheelchair seating is available by pre-arrangement. Please contact Event Organiser (Brendan) for details.
