Year 7 2019 Laptop Pick-up Training Sessions

As part of the collection procedure students are required to be accompanied by a parent for a one hour session on the practical care and use of the laptop. This session will cover:

  • Battery and adaptor care;

  • Basic Windows 10 functions; and

  • Saving files.

Sessions will be held daily during the period 14-25 January 2019.  During the first week sessions will be from 10-11am and the second week from 2-3pm.  A limit of 30 students with a parent(s) per session will be set.  Please ensure when booking you only enter the student's name.

Your son/daughter would have received their Emmaus username and password at the Information Evening held on Monday 19 November 2018.  This information will be used not only to log into their laptops, but also to access a wide variety of online resources we provide at Emmaus College.  Please ensure you have this information with you when you arrive at your session.

As you will be asked to sign for the laptop at collection, please ensure you have identification with you.  Please note that you will be unable to pick up a laptop on behalf of another family!

All training sessions will be held in the Lecture Theatre in the Galilee Centre.

Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes prior to your session.
