Paul Rissmann's musical adventure Stan and Mabel is a perfect introduction to classical music for young audiences.  Based on the book written and illustrated by Jason Chapman, it tells the story of a music-loving dog and cat whose mission is to perform in the greatest orchestra in the world.

This highly interactive concert will captivate young children with its mix of music, illustrated projections and audience participation and imaginative narration.

Melbourne Youth Orchestra is recognised as one of Australia's leading youth orchestras, with many members advancing to professional careers.  In Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Victoria's brightest young musicians come together to work with highly respected conductors and educators, and delve into advanced orchestral repertoire.
