AMMC Hobart Workshop and Dinner 2019

Come join us for the first 2019 AMMC Regional Workshop hosted by the Maritime Museum of Tasmania
The theme of the Workshop is centred on the next AMMC/ANMM Travelling Exhibition, Australians and their Boats. The workshop is designed to help members craft their stories for the next AMMC/ANMM travelling exhibition but will be useful for anyone who writes museum text. Building on previous year’s sessions, the workshop will comprise practical exercises in writing for different audiences and applications. The Workshop will feature plenty of opportunities to have input into the exhibition, with delegate interaction and participation.

You can preview the program for the Workshop on the AMMC website.

Hobart will be busy in February 2019 in the run-up to the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, so to keep delegate costs down the Workshop begins at lunchtime on Thursday 7 February and runs through until midday on Friday 8 February, in time to catch the Parade of Sail which launches the Wooden Boat Festival. What better time to focus on Australians and their boats!

An Optional Dinner with a set menu for a maximum of 30 is planned on Thursday 7 February at Mac01's 'Old Wharf Restaurant'

Book now and we look forward to your participation and another successful AMMC Regional Workshop

On Thursday 7 February 2019 at 12:00pm
