Meet the Author : Molly Murn

Please join us as we launch Molly Murn's exquisite debut novel, Heart of the Grass Tree, on Wednesday February 6th at 630pm at Coventry Library, Stirling. Molly will be in conversation with fellow Adelaide author, Patrick Allington, discussing her gorgeous and lyrical story of love and family, set on magical Kangaroo Island.
Heart of the Grass Tree is an searing and hope-filled debut about mothers and daughters and family stories, about country and its living history. Poetically written, it beautifully unfurls the shared history between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people on Kangaroo Island, and delves into the complexities of this little known story.
Molly Murn is a poet, author and bookseller. She holds a Bachelor of Dance, a Masters of Creative Arts, and is completing a PhD in Creative Writing at Flinders University. Her poetry has been published in various anthologies including Overland, Transnational Literature and Friendly Street. She works at Matilda Bookshop and lives in the Adelaide Hills.
Tickets are $8 and include light refreshments. Heart of the Grass Tree will be on sale on the night for $24.99 ($33 RRP)
