Blue Jean Sisters aims to create 2,000 handmade dolls to raise awareness of modern slavery. This is one of six artist and social enterprise collaborations commissioned by new arts and social justice centre, Adderton Brisbane for the exhibition A Fierce Hope opening in August 2019. Join the artist, Belinda Smith, to sew a denim doll for inclusion in the installation at Adderton. This project is inspired by social enterprise Outland Denim who employ and train women affected by human trafficking and exploitation.
