Let’s Dance: Lindy Hop
Learn to dance the Lindy Hop! Born in Harlem, New York City in 1928, the Lindy Hop evolved out of the jazz and swing era of the 1930’s and 1940s – and is still a favourite social dance for many!
Join passionate experienced dancers, Shob and Joel, in this fun workshop suited for dancers of all levels. You’ll explore the fundamentals of Lindy Hop and typical moves that’ll inspire you to improvise. This class is perfect if you wanted to explore swing dancing and don’t know where to begin.
You don’t need to book with a partner as the group rotate but it’s twice as much fun if you book with a friend!
Open to all ages, levels and abilities.
