The Unplanned Moment - Managing Uncertainty

A one day workshop with Playback Theatre to help you navigate the unexpected stuff

Get comfortable with discomfort at work and in life
Control your ‘flight ‘n fright’ and stare down challenges
Stay present and engaged in tricky situations
Collaborate and connect to solve problems with ease

Ever wished you could respond to those ‘unexpected moments’ with calm, ease and grace? Maybe you’d like to be more creative and quick-witted but you feel stumped when things don’t go to plan.

Improvisation and performance skills are not just meant for the stage. In today’s world, we all need to navigate unexpected challenges that life throws at us and improvise on a day-to-day basis.

Using brainstorm warm-ups, improvisation training, on-the-spot storytelling and games, this one day workshop will help you:

  • Identify the specific skills you personally need to be more dynamic, adaptable and authentic in uncertain situations
  • Leap out of that comfort zone when you need to (and we’ll have a whole lot of fun doing it!)
  • Practice the key skills that make improvisation work and help you manage the doubtful or scary times in your life and let go of ‘the plan’
  • Stay present in the moment and respond to what emerges in the ‘now’ with authenticity and grace.

This spirited and fun workshop is great for team leaders, executives, consultants, professionals, entrepreneurs and corporate teams as well as anyone looking to improve personal or business relationships, perform better at work under pressure or combat the anxieties of daily life.
