‘Parenting your primary student to bring out their best’

This is a not-to-be-missed event presented by trusted Child Psychiatrist, Dr Kaylene Henderson.

In this helpful 90 min seminar, you will learn how to:

  • Connect with your child to promote cooperation and resilience 
  • Calm your upset or anxious child
  • Teach problem solving skills, plus
  • Tips for sibling rivalry, and
  • Avoiding power struggles

Dr Kaylene Henderson is a warm and engaging speaker. As a medical specialist and mother of three primary school aged children, she imparts practical, research based advice that helps parents to feel more confident and capable in their important role. 

Who should attend: Parents of children aged 5 to 12 years of age. (Teachers and other professionals are also welcome to attend and will be provided with a certificate of attendance for PD purposes).
