|Project Rockit! Parent Forum: Navigating the Online World|
Student Services, as supported by the Principal Team and School Council, is hosting a forum for parents, carers and educators of the Balwyn High School community, on assisting young people to navigate the online world.
During the school year all students in Years 7 and 8 participate in Project Rockit workshops that explores bullying and bystander behaviour – as part of the Wellbeing levy.
To continue this conversation, nationally recognised, leading anti-bullying organisation Project Rockit with team of expert presenters, will discuss the strengths and challenges of navigating the online world as a young person.
The Head of Programs and lead presenters will share their in-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and the issue of (cyber)bullying, while also providing a range of hot tips and strategies that parents, guardians and carers can use to support young people online. This session also allows for an open Q&A at the end where we can answer all your burning questions.
