How to structure a science report

Dr Marina Hurley shows how to tailor your report according to your project aim and your audience needs, including management, clients and stakeholders. You learn what to write in each section of your document, paying particular attention to the introduction and discussion sections and the executive summary. The workshop includes practical exercises that allow you to work on your own project(s).

About the presenter

Since 2005, Dr Marina Hurley has specialised in teaching scientific and professional writing through her Writing Clear Science training consultancy. Prior to 2005, Marina worked as an ecological scientist for 20 years. Marina is Visiting Fellow at UNSW teaching PhD students.
