In a recent memoir entitled Winning for Women author Iola Mathews describes the struggle and achievements of the second wave of feminism in Australia. As co-founder of the Women's Electoral Lobby, a journalist at The Age and industrial advocate at the ACTU, she was a leader in actions to change policy in areas such as equal pay, work family issues, child care, superannuation and affirmative action. The seminar will take the form of a Q&A with Iola hosted by Maxine McKew.
