Workshop for Glossy Black Cockatoo Birding Day- Tweed Shire
This information workshop is for people planning to volunteer at the Glossy Black Cockatoo Birding Day (Sunday 19th of May 2019). Tweed Shire Council and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary are hosting the workshop with FREE entry and lunch. Marama Hopkins will provide details about the birding day and the black cockatoo species with information on ecology, behaviour, and food preferences. We will also have a chance to view real life black cockatoos and go behind the scenes to meet some up close.
