To celebrate Law Week and raise money for a worthy cause, Lawyers for Animals invites you to converse with internationally renowned philosopher, Peter Singer, AC, while enjoying a delicious, three-course vegan dinner. A Q&A-style discussion between courses will offer guests the chance to ask Professor Singer questions on a range of ethical subjects, with the principal focus being on the law as it relates to animals.
All proceeds from this event will be evenly distributed between Animals Australia and Edgar's Mission (farm sanctuary) to assist them with their important work to alleviate animal suffering.

The set menu, all-vegan dinner prepared by Nirankar's talented chefs will comprise:

Entree: Aloo Tikki (mild)

Main course: Vegetable Kadai and Nepalese Dahl (both mild) with Saffron Rice and Roti Bread

Dessert: Nepalese Kheer

A full range of drinks will be available for guests to purchase from Nirankar's bar, including a range of vegan wines.

Guests are invited to submit one (or more) questions in writing that they'd like to ask Prof. Singer during the Q&A sessions between courses. These questions may be submitted during the booking process or otherwise by Sun 12 May via email to: enquiries@lawyersforanimals.org.au
Since there won't be time for all submitted questions to be asked, preference may be given to ethical questions with a nexus to animal laws, but other subjects are also welcome. Guests will be notified by email ahead of the event if they are selected to ask Prof. Singer their question.

To facilitate maximum attendance, and contribute to the convivial atmosphere, most tables will comprise 12 people, with a few smaller tables of 8 or 10 people. Individuals and smaller groups will be seated together at communal tables. All guests who book together will automatically be placed on the same table, unless they exceed 12, in which case some will likely be seated at an adjoining table. If you wish to be seated with guests who are booking tickets separately, please complete the relevant section of the booking form, listing those with whom you would like to sit.

If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact Lawyers for Animals. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you on the evening.
