Description

A new book by author Iola Mathews, Winning for Women, traces the progress of the women's movement in Australia since the 1960s. It is a personal perspective on 60 decades of action for women's rights. The changes achieved were significant, although, as Mathews makes clear, there is more to be done, especially in the area of equal pay. Well known broadcaster, writer and former politician, Maxine McKew, engages Iola in a Q&A on her book.
