followed by two expert presentations designed especially for Queensland exporters.

Session 2: Jason Luchi, HSBC – Trade trends
Learn about current trade trends for Queensland, and key topics including blockchain, supply chains, and China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
Session 3: Brian Ruddle, Impact Innovation – Using R&D and ‘proof of concept’ to ensure strong export ROI
The international trade landscape is constantly shifting, making it difficult to develop competitive products and services that meet the needs of overseas markets. This session will explain how to use research and proof of concept (POC) projects to boost your bottom line.
You’ll find out how to:
- design more effective research and POC projects
- measure commercial readiness (TIIRA)
- manage implementation risk
- maximise export value from new products and services.
Brian’s practical approach will give you key ‘next steps’ to drive your returns on research investment.
