The Planetarium, which is a large inflatable dome with a projector and computer inside, simulates the night sky as it exactly appears from Sydney. Two astronomy guides, studying astronomy and astrophysics at Macquarie University, will lead a topic focusing on 'light'. This includes: showing the path the Sun takes; why we see a blue sky; light pollution; rotation of the earth; the Southern Celestial Pole; astronomical constellations; tour of the night sky etc.

Appropriate for all ages.
