Family Law - Level 2

Separation in many instances is a major contributor to poverty. What should I tell my client about separation? This session will provide an overview of the family law system and look into division of assets, joint debts, child support and spouse maintenance.
Upon successful completion of this session, participants will be able to: 

·    Provide accurate information around the family law system to clients
·    Know when to refer clients to specialist lawyers
·    Support clients whilst family law settlements are going on
This session will be facilitated by Jennifer Lindstrom, Legal Practice Manager &Principal Lawyer at Monash Law Clinics. It will include presenter led discussions as well as practical group work.
