Beginning of Life: Halakhic Obligations, Reproductive Rights

Reproductive rights in liberal twenty first century democracies regarding surrogacy, egg donation and post-humous fertilisation reflect both the fast pace of scientific developments in this area and changing social attitudes.

In this first talk in his Twilight Lecture Series for A Life of Opportunity and Success: Sir Zelman Cowen Centenary Exhibition, Rabbi Professor Daniel Sinclair will address the possibility of combining these changes with traditional Jewish law.
