Slow Food Hunter Valley Preserving Workshop-VINEGAR

Join Vanessa Martin and Helen Hughes on Wednesday, August 7th, for the second in our series of workshops about the ancient art of preserving. Learn about the art of pickling-using vinegar and sugar as the preserving agents-and explore a range of spices and herbs that give pickles their individual piquancy. Included is a delicious meal of bread and soup and your own handmade jar of pickles to take away. Bring an apron, a sharp knife and wear covered shoes. Everything else will be provided!
