MembershipThe St Kilda Botanical Gardens are bordered by Dickens, Tennyson, Blessington and Herbert Streets. They were opened on 16 November 1861, and are important for their botanical attributes as well as a green space for local residents and visitors.
Friends of St Kilda Botanical Gardens (a voluntary not for profit association) advocate for the wellbeing of the Gardens and work closely with the City of Port Phillip and the gardeners to ensure that these historical Gardens are appropriately maintained.
The Friends' blog provides up to date information on activities in the Gardens foskbg.org.
The Friends usually work in the glasshouses (along Blessington Street) on Saturdays 3-5pm.
