About the Conference

Afflicted by war, terrorism, breakdown of family values, drugs, violence and abuse of the vulnerable - inevitably wounded by our own actions, and through the actions of others. Living according to the Gospel can be challenging, fearful or even downright impossible!
Yet, throughout history, we see a pattern where, in the midst of violence and hopelessness, God raises up people who are weak and broken to be a light to the world. He raised a shepherd boy named David to be a king. A stutterer named Moses to lead a nation out of captivity. A persecutor of faith like St. Paul to be a follower and a martyr for Christ. In our own struggles and weaknesses we take heart that God can raise us up, above our circumstances, transform our lives, and give us hope for a better tomorrow.
St John Paul II reminded us that “the springs of divine power gush forth precisely in the midst of human weakness”. This is the meaning of the cross of Christ. In humiliation and defeat, He became a fount of life for the world.
His grace is sufficient for us and His power is being made perfect in our weakness.

What to expect

At this conference, we come together for a day of prayer and breaking open the word of God, to be strengthened, renewed, and revived.
Join us to experience His love, grace and strength, so that we can echo the words of the Apostle Paul, His grace is enough for us and His power is being made perfect in our weakness.
Registration is free, and the conference will include praise, worship, adoration, Holy Mass and inspiring talks.
"That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Cor 12:10
