Ms Shae Beaton will be discussing the chronic oral side effects induced by radiotherapy to the head and neck region.
Dr Roisin McGrath will be discussing building capacity to promote oral health for people living with severe mental illness.
2015. During her final year of study, she completed an elective study unit on
radiation-induced side effects in patients with head and neck cancer. This unit
included a placement at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where Shae’s passion for
managing patients with special needs arose. Since graduating, Shae has worked
within the dental oncology unit as an oral health therapist, as well as in the private
sector. Currently, Shae is working four days a week at Peter Mac, including a
research component. Shae is also demonstrating part-time at the University of
Melbourne. In her spare time, Shae enjoys going to the gym and walking her golden

Should your circumstances change after purchasing a ticket, and you can no longer attend the CPD event, we will gladly provide a refund with a weeks notice (by the 5th of October). Refunds will not be provided for "no shows" on the day of the event or for a change of mind after the 5th of October.
In the event of the event being cancelled by ADOHTA Vic, a full refund will be given.
