"Growing in the Light: becoming a Church that transforms hearts and souls"
Retreat Day with Fr Laurence Freeman osb

Prayer, conversation and communion with God all lie at the heart of ministry. Growing in discipleship and enabling others to grow in theirs happens as our relationship with God deepens. Parish priests, pastoral associates, pastoral workers and lay chaplains are invited to this retreat experience to be led by Fr Laurence Freeman OSB.

Come, listen and learn from an international teacher of Christian meditation to develop a deeper appreciation of prayer as central to creating a synodal capacity for ‘journeying together in the parrhesia of the Spirit’. Fr Laurence Freeman OSB is the Director of The World Community for Christian Meditation—an ecumenical, contemplative community dedicated to teaching meditation. In the monastery, his spiritual teacher was John Main, whom he helped to establish the first Christian Meditation Centre in London.
