Delivering Catholic Social Teaching through community
services and public advocacy

Saturday 23 November 2019 - 9.00am to 5.30pm

The conference will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences about the nature, functions and priorities of Catholic Social Ministry. Social ministry is broadly defined: it covers the better known and established ministries in social services and health and a wide range of less structured activities designed to further help the poor and marginalised and to promote social justice. It includes Parish Social Ministry, which covers the wide range of social action that can be undertaken at the local parish level.
