MEDUSA + Cathy Diver + Prof. Paul Francis

hero
Join us in the MEDUSA installation for an evening that promises to be as unique as it is sublime.

Playing us into the sunset is the ethereal singer/songwriter Cathy Diver. Cathy Diver is a Canberra-based alt-country & folk artist. Her songs stitch together as tender vignettes, shifting and sunburnt. Her debut single, ‘Watertight’, was released in May 2019 and garnered healthy radio play around the country. A string of favourable reviews followed, including 5 stars from Triple J’s Roots ‘n’ All Host, Nkechi Anele: “…this is a mesmerising song that I could listen to for days on end.”

Dividing Cathy's sets will be Professor Paul Francis, an astrophysicist, who researches galaxies and black holes in the early universe. Paul will provide an entertaining lesson on the heavens above, before Cathy returns to leave us floating into the night.

MEDUSA related events are weather-dependent. Cancellations will be posted on the website and Facebook. Bookings are required to participate in the event from within MEDUSA (limited capacity) however you will be able to enjoy all events from outside the installation. BYO picnic blankets and hats.
