Fighting for Fun Workshop

Master stage combat and learn the fight choreography from Melbourne Shakespeare Company's production of The Taming of the Shrew with Choreographer, John Reed.

Born in Houston, Texas, John relocated to Melbourne in 2004 where he studied at the May Downs School of Dancing under Renie Anne Martini and Centrestage Performing Arts School under Ian and Leanne White. John graduated from Federation University Arts Academy (Ballarat) with a BA in Music Theatre in 2015 and has since performed in many productions including Funny Girl (The Production Company), Merrily We Roll Along (Watch This!), Jesus Christ Superstar (The Production Company) and featured in the music videos for comedian Jude Perl and actor Guy Pearce.

This workshop runs alongside The Taming of the Shrew in the St. Kilda Botanical Gardens and other MSC workshops
Auditioning for Shakespeare, Beginners Shakespeare and  and Sustainable Sewing.
