The RMLV, Gaming Nominee and CLO is a two-day course for those working in the hospitality & gaming industry. QLD legislation requires that RMLV training is mandatory for all licensees, nominees and applicants for a manager’s licence. The OLGR has also legislated that all new gaming nominees are to complete the Mandatory Gaming Nominee Course as part of their nominee application process which includes Customer Liaison Officer training.

ABOUT THE COURSES

Day 1 - RMLV course - Monday, 11th November 2019
Queensland legislation requires that Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) training is mandatory for all licensees, nominees and applicants for a manager’s licence. Responsible management of Licensed Venues RMLV training was developed to reduce the negative impact of poor management practices on the community.

As the course targets licensees and nominees it is specifically designed with a management focus. The course not only provides details of the law and liquor licence requirements, it also includes a range of management strategies to assist operators in the responsible conduct of their business.

During the CTA Training Specialists (Club Training Australia) OLGR approved Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) approved one-day course you can also expect to:

  • Learn your responsibilities under the Liquor Act 1992.
  • Learn a range of management strategies to assist in the responsible operation of a licensed venue
  • Learn how to use risk management and self-audit processes for the continued safe and responsible operation of your business.

Day 2 - Gaming Nominee Course & CLO - Tuesday, 12th November 2019 
Queensland’s Office of Liquor & Gaming Regulation (OLGR) have legislated that from 31 December 2005 all new gaming nominees are to complete the Mandatory Gaming Nominee Course as part of their nominee application process.

Your Gaming Nominee course includes: 

  • Certificate of attendance
  • Gaming nominee manual
  • Participant's handouts
  • Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch provided
  • Notification to OLGR upon successful completion
  • Qualified trainer with real industry experience
  • Networking with other licensees and gaming nominees

The course expands on the legislative requirements of gaming nominees as per the Gaming Machine Act.
