The Attorney General on Mental Health
The Piddington Society is delighted to host the Attorney General of Western Australia, the Hon John Quigley MLA JP, for a speech on mental health in the profession.

The event will take place at 5.30PM on Wednesday 4 December 2019 and his full topic will be announced shortly.
After leaving school at the end of Year 10, Quigley pursued other jobs before coming to the law. As a lawyer his principal practice area was in criminal law, and his clients included the West Australian Police Union and Andrew Mallard, who was exonerated of a murder conviction.
Quigley was elected to the West Australian Parliament in 2001. He was appointed Attorney General following the 2017 election, after eight years as Shadow Attorney General.
As Attorney General, Quigley has been an energetic and enthusiastic First Law Officer, with reforms across areas like access to justice, including in the regions, parole and child sex abuse redress.
Attendees will be eligible for 1CPD point in CA3 (Ethics and Professional Responsibility).
The event will be hosted at the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
